It’s not about the number of years that we have already spent on this earth that we are celebrating our 21st birthday. It’s about the journey we’ve travelled so far—whether we’ve fully understood the meaning of this journey or not, what’s important is that we still have the strength to walk the path. In this 21st year we have lived, we have forged bonds of friendships, some planned while others not so much, either way, we treasure one and all. But perhaps, the most meaning we can put into celebrating our 21st birthday is that we know we’ve already travelled long, but out destination has yet to be reached.
